Finding a signature fragrance that suits you can be quite an overwhelming process especially if you have just entered the market for a new fragrance or hoping for a change after your favourite scent stayed the same for too long. Deciding on a perfect scent boils down to personal preference. Would you prefer something musky or opt for floral and fruity?
If you fancy the smell of vintage champagne, look no further to Gucci Première Eau de Toilette, a lighter, brighter, more delicate incarnation of this memorable signature scent.
Gucci Première Eau de Toilette
Created as a celebration of the thrill of success, Gucci Première Eau de Toilette rewards those champagne moments of everyday achievement and makes them resonate and last. Gucci’s latest essence for women lends a new bold brightness to the original Eau de Parfum. The combination of its sparkling nature with sensual yet understated femininity endows the wearer with an unfading radiance.
The Gucci Première couture collection, which made its debut at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, became the inspiration behind the new fragrance. The marvelous and luxurious collection has been seen on a bevy of Hollywood beauties namely Salma Hayek Pinault, Jessica Alba, Cameron Diaz, Naomi Watts, Kate Beckinsale and Li Bing Bing.

Blake Lively, the face of the Gucci Première Eau de Parfum advertising campaign, fronts the Eau de Toilette version campaign. Photographed by the renowned Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Blake again brings her own brand of feminine strength and assurance to the promotional campaign for this launch.
“ For me, fragrance is bottled confidence,” she says “You spray it and you immediately feel empowered – there’s a sensuality that comes with fragrance and there’s a power that fragrance has on other people. But while Gucci Première represents a red carpet moment or a big night out, the new Eau de Toilette version is softer. It has all the great presence of the original, but dialled down and freshened up. You really can wear it as your everyday fragrance.”
Gucci Première Eau de Toilette revisits Gucci Première Eau de Parfum’s design in a more subtle key.
The classy and elegant flacon for Gucci Première Eau de Toilette incorporates many of the details and design motifs now associated with Gucci Première Eau de Parfum that features a medal charm around its neck, entwined with the House’s iconic horsebit. A cap bearing the distinctive signature: “Gucci Première”. The fragrance packaged in a muted gold box features a gilt rendition of the brand’s iconic interlocking GG Diamante pattern, which has become one of the world’s most recognised design motifs, as well as the script signature of founder Guccio Gucci, and the House’s signature web stripe.
Delicate but still sensual, the perfume is designed to set a celebratory mood.
Created around radiant florals and bright citrus notes, Gucci Première Eau de Toilette lends a new bold brightness to the original Eau de Parfum. The combination of orange blossom and light citrus oils triggers a luminous elegance which suggests the pouring of a cold bottle of vintage champagne into a tall, elegant glass. The top accords mingle with intense scent profiles such as freesia, jasmine and soft Bulgarian rose at the heart of the fragrance . As the fragrances dries on skin, the subtle but tenacious warmth of leather, patchouli and musky notes complete the fragrance’s captivating charisma.
Blake Lively says: “This new fragrance announces that you have strength and are happy in your own skin. I really love that. It’s for the woman that I’ve always aspired to be. Every day.”
