Hi, I've been having the same problem with my bag too (i.e. that the surface 'bubbles'), was surfing the net for answers when I came across your blog. How did you file a complaint? I tried to take the bag to the outlet in the Gardens Midvalley, but was simply told by the assistant that as the bag was purchased 3.5 years ago, there was nothing I could do, except buy a new one (!!!)

Hi Lynn, I took it to Garden's Midvalley too. First you have to make sure that the white tag inside your bag (fixed at the side) is still attached. They have recently changed their policy. If you have bought it from that particular branch after they change their policy it would be hard. You may have to write a letter to Long Champ directly (the one in Gardens is just their distributor). Otherwise, insist that this is Long Champ policy and they should honour their promise. I put up a fight before I got what I deserve. Good luck!

I live in Ipoh and very please to have a piece of Longchamp Le Pliage handbag but I'm doubt abt the authenticity of the bags from smashing pit stop….. any advice?

We believe that buying online requires a level of trust between the buyer and the seller. If you don’t trust the seller, do not buy. It’s better to pay more and get a peace of mind about the authenticity of the bag.

gosh…im in love with le pliage. bought my black medium inn harrods for GBP50 (less than RM250), which is a steal.

There are so many copies out there, but nothing beats the real Longchamp tote. I have 4 of them and look forward to adding this Eiffel to my collection

i personally find the service is better at the pavillion outlet. not too happy with staff at gardens. i had a longchamp which was bought in early 2008. by late 2009, a lot of bubbles appeared. i took the bag to the pavillion outlet thinking they could help me do something about, not knowing about the exchange policy. best thing is they allowed me to choose a new one! i’m not sure if they still have this exchange policy in place.

I faced the same problem on my Le Pliage small sized, short handle. It has hideous bubbles on the surface of the bag. I wonder if I can bring it to Longchamp Pavilion or The Gardens for an exchange or repair. But the problem is that I bought this bag from online webpage & they doesn’t supply the original receipt. Do they (Longchamp) need the receipt?
