Fashion finds: pre-loved
A friend went to a bazaar and came home disappointed and complained, “Everything is second-hand. I can’t imagine wearing someone’s old clothes. It’s so disgusting”! To be fair, I have never bought any second-hand clothes. Who wants old clothes when you can get new ones right?
But when I think about it more, some clothes sold as ‘pre-loved’ are never worn. I’m sure we have our own share of compulsive shopping. We have to get it because it’s 70% off or because your shopping partner told you that you looked good in that dress that suffocates you to death. So what do we do? Some would let it rot in the closet, other will sell them off at lower price.
Here are some pre-loved clothes from Forever 21 and Miss Selfridge. Some are worn once, and others are brand new. But all of them definitely cost more if you have gotten it from the store!
