What are you going to do on Labour’s day? Most people would choose to rest at home. The celebration was influenced by the Eight-hour day movement which proposed 8 hours of work, 8 hours of rest and 8 hours of recreation. So why not join us at Subang Parade for the “I Love Bazaar” for shopping therapy?

When we went overseas for holiday, we saw heaps of pretty apparel & accessories. We went amok, grabbed anything we managed to put our hands on and thought we should sell them just for fun!

Join us on Facebook!

There’s a problem: everybody refer to us as Fashiono. We thought it sounded like ‘Fashion Oh No’! Not a very good name huh? Actually, we are called Fashionomy. We just like to refer to ourself as Fashiono.my, with the full stop because that’s also our URL. It means that you can go to the address bar and type “fashiono.my” to be directed straight here.

Anyway, we created a Facebook account and hope that you would join us to get our daily updates. We update our Facebook every time we post something so you get to check out pretty fashion items while playing games on Facebook. That is for readers, as for blogshops owners, it’s really hard to email all of you guys one by one. So we thought we’ll send a mass mail to everyone on our list every time we have a new project.

Breast cancer? Nay. Nothing to do with me

Breat Cancer Awarenes | Fashiono.myEnd of October marks the ending of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I’m sure you’ve seen and heard about breast cancer or the pink ribbon campaign everywhere. The problem is, there are so many campaigns to raise awareness for different causes. Sometimes, we are only aware of the existence of the campaign itself and aren’t aware of the disease. Fashiono.my would make this simple and short so that you girl would read on and know what breast cancer is all about.

What is breast cancer?
Cancer that forms in tissues of the breast. Like all cancer, it can be fatal if not detected early.

What is all these breast cancer campaigns about?
The whole point of all the campaigns is to make people aware of what breast cancer so that they will be able to detect it early. Many died from breast cancer because when they realised that they are sick, it’s already too late.

What should you be concern?
You have a pair breast and may lose them if you don’t (That is if you’re lucky enough to survive it). Click here to see how it it like losing a breast.

What are the symptoms?
Who remembers all the long, boring, technical symptoms? As a rule of thumb, any unusual changes in the breast can be a symptom of breast cancer. Pains and irritation might be too common to notice. But be aware of other anomaly such as swelling, discharge from the nipple and inverted nipple. A lump in the underarm area can also be a sign of breast cancer! More?

What should I do?
They all say regular self-examination and loads of other stuff. Let’s be realistic, how many of us will do it religiously? The least you should do is to be aware of any changes in your breast. Alice Wonders provided wrote an attractive article on how to do breast self-examination

Who was diagnosed?
Kylie Minogue, Anastacia, Cheryl Crow, Shirley Temple. Check out the list of breast cancer patients.
