Pink-tober which was held at White Box @ MAP, Solaris Dutamas on the 24th of October (Sunday) has succesfully increased the awareness of breast cancer among the people (myself included). After afew hours of indulging myself with fantastic splurges, I took out my pen and notebook and chased some random shoppers and interviewed them about Pink-tober.

Deborah, 25, Cleo magazine writer
“Cool and well-done bazaar event. Dosent feel force to spend eventhough it is for charity as everything is laid out in a very nice way. Likes the art works as well as the indoor space because it is air-conditioned. Finds the venue convenient.”

Yana, 30, teacher
“Overall, likes the event. But there should be more variety of shops and stalls. Would come again in the near future if this event is held.”

Nolin, 24, student
“Thinks that the event is interesting. There are alot of online blogshop stalls. But, the venue is too far and not save as there are some constructions going on.”

“Like the event as the venue is nearby and convenient. Stalls sell cheap and cool stuffs. Bought cheap t-shirts, a cardigan and pins. Would come again next time.”

Ushna, 27, analyst
“Finds the bazaar event good and also convenient venue. Bought a jewellery from The Brollies. Would definitely come again as it is for a good course.”

Arlyne, 23, graduate (left) & friend
“The location is too far and not suitable- not accessible because there are no atm nearby. The space for the stalls are abit cramped and hard for people to move around. But the food are quite tasty. More aware of breast cancer through the event so would probably come again.”
