Do you still remember those crop tops from the 80s and 90s? Just like many other current fashion trends, crop tops have also resurfaced after all these years. It’s true what they say, fashion trends are cyclical. This look has been spotted on the runways of Alexander Wang and Erin Wasson x RVCA to name a few. But nope, it doesn’t look anything like when Britney Spears bared her belly back in the 90s. Thank god.

How to wear it?
You can definitely steal this look and put your own individual style in it. A crop top is quite a versatile piece, it can be paired up with a lot of things from harem pants to skirts or high-waisted shorts. So have fun experimenting with it!
Some of us may like to show a little more skin, some may not. If you want to flash a little skin, try pairing a crop top with high-waisted pants/trousers. Keeping the lines clean will help tame the sex appeal associated with a crop top.
Pair a boxy crop top with a fitted ribbed tank dress to contrast the proportion of the shirt.
If you’re feeling bashful about wearing a full-on crop top, try a short high-low shirt that provides the illusion of a crop top.
Continue the flowy line of a maxi dress with a baggy cropped top layered on top.

Clogs are back! Power fashion houses like Chanel, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton and Alexander McQueen are showing them of in their latest runway. Buzz are still going around if this footwear is going to be either a fashion do or dont. But it seems like its a fashion do for most of us! There is an edge to this chunky footwear which surprisingly can be mix and match with mostly everything- summer dresses, skinny jeans, ciggarate pants, any which. Plus, maybe we need something different to wear because it has always been about flats and heels. I guess clogs came in the right time.
Unfortunately, its quite rare to find clogs in Malaysia. Dont fret just yet because Lush Serendipity is taking pre-orders and the price range is from RM65-RM55 which is ridiculosly cheap! Grab them quick because today is the last day to order. You dont want to miss this chance. Even I want to get these clogs for myself.
You are wearing too many monochromes these days? All from grey to black to white and back to grey again? Need abit more colour? Lets pop art! They are always vibrant and colourful. Plus, art and fashion is always a never-go-wrong combination. So, why not “pop art” your outfits? Say hello to polka dots, colourful stripes, geometrical prints and more colours, ladies.
Mini Romper is becoming another must-have piece for all those fashionistas out there who are currently living in Malaysia. Can’t you feel that the temperature is rising madly?! These adorable one-pieces are a necessity for looking—and feeling—cool right now.
Fashion tips
1. There are different styles of rompers which suit different body shapes so choose the most suitable and appropriate which looks good on an individual. Generally, the all in one romper suit with a belt like those below can be worn by most people, no matter what their sizes are.
2. The color of any style of romper is as important as its shape. Primary colored rompers tend to make the wearer look dynamic, whereas subtle shades, such as pastel, can add a softer look. Gold, or bronze colored rompers can set off tanned skin perfectly when worn on the beach or poolside.
3. Find rompers with front details create an illusion of a fuller chest. Most Asians are not blessed with ample chest. So look for rompers with details such as ruffles, embroidery or buttons.
4. Play with stripes. If you like to look slimmer, wear vertical stripes. If you think you look too skinny and would like to appear a little bigger than you actually are, get vertical striped rompers. All the better if they are light in colour and dark colour would make you appear slimmer.
Every time you step into a boutique or browse through blogshops, you can always see a variety of prints– animal prints such as leopard print, polka dots, stripes and floral. I’m sure you have worn those lovely printed tops and dresses of yours, but now it’s time to work printed bottoms!
How to wear it
Too many prints is an absolute no-no. If you’re wearing a printed bottom, avoid wearing a complex or printed top too. Vice versa. Keep your top simple — contrast is a good thing when it comes to prints.
