Neon colors are no longer considered a faux pas in fashion. The designers’ tendency to evoke the trends of the 80’s is surprising. However, many people welcomed it with excitement. But, there is a catch ; Neon colored clothes can be very tricky if we aren’t aware of some principles on how to wear and accessorize acid green, muted neon, pink or in cases electric blue clothes.

1. It is best to ameliorate the bright colored apparels with neutral and simple colors, etc, black, white and beige. For example, when you are wearing a bright pink dress, work in your favorite black heels or pumps. The neutral colors will help balance out the different colors in the wardrobe.

2. Accessories are also very important, one neon colored piece in your outfit is enough to create the proper atmosphere, don’t spoil it with hoops and bangles. Choose neutral colored earrings/earstuds, simple fantasy jewelry or minimal cuffed bangle ; these will match your vivid outfit.

3. If you’re rather shy to wear neon colors, try it on a clutch or a tote, small or medium-sized, it’s perfect for accessorizing a monochromatic outfit. Place the neon piece of clothing on the favorite part of your body, because it will immediately attract other’s attention. Avoid wearing it on your thickest part, if you’re blessed with curvaceous hips and rich bosom.

Clogs are back! Power fashion houses like Chanel, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton and Alexander McQueen are showing them of in their latest runway. Buzz are still going around if this footwear is going to be either a fashion do or dont. But it seems like its a fashion do for most of us! There is an edge to this chunky footwear which surprisingly can be mix and match with mostly everything- summer dresses, skinny jeans, ciggarate pants, any which. Plus, maybe we need something different to wear because it has always been about flats and heels. I guess clogs came in the right time.
