American Tourister recently launched their new line of luggage bags: the Vivolite. Made for the elite travellers, the chic tourists & the colourful effervescent folk, Vivolite caters to the needs of a wide range of crowd who desire ultra-lightweight, stylish & industrial-strength luggage bags.
Patented by American Tourister-pioneered innovation, the “PressPro”, the exterior glossy suitcase is made of lightweight polypropylene shells that absorbs shocks better than most hard shells, yet still remaining flexible. It completely protects whatever’s inside, while doesn’t have that heavy factor most protective suitcases would have.
Fitted with a recessed Transportation Security Administration (TSA) combination lock, conflated with its four recessed spinner wheels for easy manoeuvrability, push-button trolley & soft-gripped handles, the strongest & most lightweight American Tourister Vivolite collection is a durable asset, ready to withstand the pressures & the vigorous handling at airport check-ins, and the toughness of travel.
Available in 4 striking urban colours: hot pink, purple, navy & lime green and also 3 different sizes, this Vivolite collection appeals to people of every background & every age who desire to be savvy while stylish while in travel.
Why should we trust American Tourister’s Vivolite?
These luggages have had very rigorous tests conducted on them, and have passed all of them on a continuous basis in order to make sure that they are in line with the tough quality benchmarks set by the company.
These tests include:
-Drop test: A fully loaded bag is dropped five times at the corners to check its strength;
- Jerk Test: A fully loaded bag is given jerks 3,500 times in quick succession to ensure the durability of critical parts like handles;
- Lock Test: The locks are opened & closed 15,000 times in quick succession to ascertain safety aspects;
-Wheel Test: A fully loaded bag is made to travel nearly 32km to establish its sturdiness;
-Tumble Test: A fully loaded bag is made to tumble in a big drum 50 times continuously to ensure that it withstands its rough handling.
WOW. This Vivolite is one tough badass chick!
Onto the American Tourister ‘Take on the World’ event:
This event was held at the East Atrium of Mid Valley Megamall, with a crowd of inquisitive onlookers around the area. It was a three-day weekend event from the 20th to 22nd of June.
Check out the event video! The grand rig, as it was called, was surrounded & lined with 30 HD Cameras to capture E!’s 360 red-carpet camera-style 360 degrees shots while you’re flying in the air carrying Vivolite luggages, to make you look like you’re levitating!
“Take on The World”. What does this phrase mean to you? It’s very subjective to personal opinion, really. To me, it means to bring what I have, what I was born with, what I have worked for and to dazzle the world with it, henceforth achieving my dreams. To challenge the norm, to present something new to the world. To change the world. Also I would interpret it as to go on crazy adventures with my friends — that infinite moment as you realise you have explored & conquered every degree of this madly motley roller-coaster flip of a sphere we live in.
And what’s best to bring with you?
Everything you need, securely & tightly packed into your trusty American Tourister Vivolite.
Celebrities Hanis Zalikha & Diana Danielle were present at the event.

Preparing for the Step/Jump Test!
The “Step Test” — These Malaysian celebrities were so excited to jump on & trash the ill-fated Vivolite.
But, look! It pops up again, surface as shiny as new!

Lawrence Wong as well as Audrey Ooi (fourfeetnine) were present at the event! What a star-studded scene.
Later, the aforementioned onlookers volunteered to step in the grand rig and take their levitating shot for a chance to win attractive prizes if uploaded on Facebook as well as to take home an 8-seconds 360 degrees video and a still levitation insta-print photo card.

The prices of this Vivolite collection range from RM590 to RM790 (depending on the spinner size which ranges from 55cm to 75cm).
I would personally say that this modest price is definitely worth it for the durability, efficiency & convenience of this luggage.
