We are delighted to inform you that the first Cath Kidston store in Malaysia will open its doors this Friday, 29 November at 10am. The British brand popular the world over for vintage-style prints first store is located at Mid Valley Megamall.
Fresh, modern and eccentric, Cath Kidston’s designs possess an infectious childlike sense of fun into every day objects. Cheerful prints such as vintage roses and polka dots cover products which range from accessories, home-ware, laundry, womenswear and childrenswear.
The flagship Cath Kidston store will span across 110 square meters and stock the latest in accessories, bags, fashion, home and kids collections. Set up within the brand’s momentous 20th anniversary year it seeks to realize the “home of modern vintage” concept for which the retailer is renowned.
The brand was established in 1993, when designer Cath Kidston opened her first shop in London’s Notting Hill. The shop started by selling vintage fabrics, wallpapers and brightly-painted junk furniture inspired by fond memories of Cath’s childhood. She then began to design her own prints and products – based on old-fashioned, classic prints but with a clean modern feel. The clever, witty re-working of traditional English country house style and love for all things vintage meant the shop became an instant hit and a cult success. The brand’s product base has now expanded to include an extensive range of homewares as well as women’s fashion and accessories, and a kid’s collection that launched in 2008.
As a treat to its many Malaysian fans, the first 200 in line at the store opening will receive a RM50 store voucher per person.
Malaysia’s first Cath Kidston store is located at :
Lot G-011, Ground Floor
Mid Valley Megamall

The workshop was attended by Somalian refugees aged 14 to 17, and kicked off with a presentation on skin and hygiene by Deborah Henry and Tiz Zaqyah. Sharing tips and tricks on how to look after their skin, Tiz said, “The aim for us was to educate these girls on how important hygiene is towards maintaining their skin.
