Lately, we saw clubs turning into bazaar in the day. Dancing and drinking are replaced by haggling and shopping. Now, even food courts are transformed into flea markets. Last weekend, Pick and Grab bazaar took place in Hartamas Square.
As I was there early, it wasn’t too hot and there weren’t too many people. Experiences from visiting numerous bazaars taught me to escape the traffic which is the highest at noon to around three pm. There were enough vendors for satisfying shopping. A friend of mine bought RM200 worth of clothing and shoes in an hour! The only downside is there’s no washroom nearby to try the clothes on. Other than that, I think the food court is a good venue despite the lack of air conditioning.
#2 Studs from Eff Bombs. I’ve searched high and low for studs but couldn’t find it anywhere. Not even at Multifilia, the supposedly biggest art shop in KL. At Eff Bombs a packet cost around RM 10 – 15 depending on the size of the studs.
#3 Flip-flops from Oh Koko Lulu. Only RM 20 per pair
We’ve realise the past entries on What to wear for Christmas? were are dresses! What about wearing leggings this Christmas? Pair it witha long checkered shirt, a pair of vintage ‘peace’ earrings, a faux leather document bag and a pair of gold flats. If yo think that’s too boring, add a bit of kink to the outfit with a faux leather corset belt. Who says casual can’t be trendy?
