Beth and Prabu, the founders of Artsy Communications have done a tremendous job in organizing Pinktober. After months of efforts and preparations, everything paid off as all of us who were there enjoyed the fantastic line-up of performances from local talents, 50 stalls to shop at, as well as an art exhibition. Although, it was a bit hard to find the venue, that did not stop us from having fun. Do look up for their next event which will be held in December.

Who doesn’t know The Survival Store, right? From bags to apparels, the lady behind the online store has an eye on everything pretty, classy and beautiful. I even bought this high waisted buttoned skirt and I can assure you that no one will ever believe that I bought it for less than RM30!
Talking about massive sales, you can get everything here for as low as RM5. Joni, the owner of Cherry Go Round does not just sell lovely apparels but also a personal stylist. And, the good news is there will be a Christmas sale!

Malaysians are a talented lot. I notice many shops selling handmade items and Rose Handmade is one of them who patiently putting bead by bead to create something unique and is not machine made like most of the things we buy today. Rose, the owner is also selling paintings and “batik”. Interested? Visit Fine Batik.
Looking for cool tees? Visit My Favourite Tees! The tees have the most awesome statements, etc, War Is Over and images, etc , MGMT, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, The Ramones and more. My fav will be the one that Jeremy, the owner wore, Crystal Castles!
I really love that millitary jacket! And, guess what, there are more jackets and apparels in different designs and colors. Now, there is a channel inspired jacket up for grab. The bags and accesories are also very eye-catching.
How was it overall?
From my opinion, the event was a success. Soloris Dutamas is a very beautiful place. However, since that the place is still under construction and not conveniently located, a lot of people got lost, including me. Other than that, there are no complains and I’ll definitely go again!
