We all know that colour affects our mood. Why not trick ourselves into what we aim to be using the power of colour? If you’re feeling down or tired, don’t pick dull colours such as brown or black. Choose red instead. Red brings out the energy in you. Have a strict dress code? It’s okay. Go ahead and stick to the usual black/white colour scheme. But instead of the dull black bag, choose a fiery red one.

In the name of fashion, sometimes, like Cinderella’s ugly sister, I squeeze my poor feet into ill-fitting shoes. I walk in four inches heels just because it look good on me and I believe that I have enough skills to ensure I wouldn’t literally fall head over heels. Today I decided to inject practicality into an outfit without sacrificing style.
While we don’t have four seasons in Malaysia, we follow overseas trends. That means that we look forward to Spring/Summer collections which would affect our shopping. After much research, I found that florals are still in fashion though the studs fad is slowly withering. So I picked a floral dress which you can be sure will be still hot for another half a year.
I pair the dress with black accessories. One reason is to tone the dress down, and another is because black accessories are wardrobe essentials. We chose pair of stylish flat to ensure comfortable walking and huge bag to store all your essentials. Pull your hair up with a headband and carry a mirror with you to make sure your reflection looks exactly like how you want it to be.

I love bows and the colour pink. Imagine my delight when I saw a hot pink satin skirt with a cute bow infront. At first, I thought that a bright skirt as such should be toned down with a white cotton tank top. On second thought, that’ll be a little too dull. So I found an edgy long sleeve striped shirt with adornment on the shoulder. To complete the look, I chose an oversized black bag and a sky high peep toe heels. Spray on some perfume and you’re ready to go!

The last outfit we put together for Christmas was suitable for a night out. If you’re going out with your girlfriends for lunch and chit-chat instead or any informal event during the day, wear something pretty but casual enough to make it seem like you didn’t put any effort at all to look fabulous. Don’t we all like to think that we wake up to look like a superstar already?
So put on a floral dress and accompany it with matching accessories. We chose a bag big enough to store all your beauty essentials (including a mirror to make sure every strand of hair is in place), a matching bracelet and a pair of hand-made gladiator flats to ensure that there’s be no foot ache from too much walking.
