We tried to look for washed out denim (they are the next in thing!) but found none that is not already sold out. We picked a dark denim shorts in replacement and paired it with a cute oversized jumper to go on a more casual path. To keep the entire outfit edgy, a studded platform and an angel wings brass ring are chosen. If you think the look is too gloomy, inject a pop of colours in by painting your nails with neon nail polish in either lime green, purple, hot pink or electric blue.

In the name of fashion, sometimes, like Cinderella’s ugly sister, I squeeze my poor feet into ill-fitting shoes. I walk in four inches heels just because it look good on me and I believe that I have enough skills to ensure I wouldn’t literally fall head over heels. Today I decided to inject practicality into an outfit without sacrificing style.
While we don’t have four seasons in Malaysia, we follow overseas trends. That means that we look forward to Spring/Summer collections which would affect our shopping. After much research, I found that florals are still in fashion though the studs fad is slowly withering. So I picked a floral dress which you can be sure will be still hot for another half a year.
I pair the dress with black accessories. One reason is to tone the dress down, and another is because black accessories are wardrobe essentials. We chose pair of stylish flat to ensure comfortable walking and huge bag to store all your essentials. Pull your hair up with a headband and carry a mirror with you to make sure your reflection looks exactly like how you want it to be.

I’m not sure if you notice that most fashion items available online are not suitable for work. All blogshops seems to be filled with going out clothing and over the top accessories such as bodycon dresses, short skirts, heavily studded bags, bib necklaces are other things you cannot wear to your office.
Today, we decided to mix and match an outfit which your boss or colleague will not frown upon. We picked a neutral colour ruffled top, a knee length skirt, faux leather bag in beige and a black peep toe heels. Lastly, if you work in an air-conditioned environment from 9 to 5 you’ll need a lipbalm to avoid chapped lips. We picked a organic lipbalm from Mimpi Murni.
