The long-awaited second Kate Moss capsule line for Topshop has finally been unveiled today at the Topshop outlet at Pavilion KL. This stellar line includes pieces that were inspired from the supermodel Kate Moss’s own closet, and gleams bright of a luxurious quintessence with shiny fabrics like silk/gold lame from Italy, and intricate lacing from India, but yet has the soft worn vintage feel of being covertly stolen from someone else’s wardrobe, and at the same time also conflates with a very pervading rocker chic musk; a signature Kate Moss emblem.
The coveted collection features a homely look that fits well with the toned-down theme, including printed silk kaftans and paisley pajama suits (TO-DIE-FOR).
This pajama suit blazer fits so much into the homely/glamour/quirky theme — its paisley print captures high street fashion; the length of it gives a flair & a stroke of regalia, and the fact that it’s modelled after pajamas just screams of how casual it is.
As I quote the emcee, Denver Leong, “Kate Moss saw this dress in a store in Paris years ago, and the next minute she went to Topshop with this inspiration.” This gorgeous sun-yellow dress is definitely reminiscent of an orange paradise in a rooftop cafe on the streets of Paris, with a majestic view of the sunset.

Another printed pajama suit, as presented by the lovely Carmen Soo.
Carmen looks absolutely monochromatically sleek in Kate Moss’ sheer romper, garnished with her black hat & handbag.

flapper dress. As quoted
by a Topshop worker holding this dress in the dressing room, “My God this dress is heavy.”
Definitely one for more star-studded occasions: this silver-sequined kimono is sidereal crown of this collection.
This collection also encases a large variety of fringes & leather which demonstrates the rocker, punk-empowered way of Kate’s nature.
Four styles we just saw summed up in one glorious photo of four fashionistas: sleek & sexy on Carmen Soo; casual & chic on AraByrd; retro glamour on Danielle Peitragraham, badass rocker chic on Joyce Wong.
